Kishor Dattatraya Dhankude, a 49-year-old Civil Engineer turned businessman, has achieved remarkable feats in mountaineering and marathon running. Notably, he summited Mount Everest from both the Chinese and Nepalese sides, becoming the first Indian civilian to do so.

He also attempted other challenging peaks like Mt. Kamet, Mt. Satopanth, and Mt. Deo Tibba. Dhankude has conquered the highest mountains on seven continents, including Mt. Kilimanjaro, Mt. Elbrus, Mt. Aconcagua, and Mt. Denali. Additionally, he completed the grueling Comrades Ultra Marathon in South Africa from 2016 to 2023. Beyond personal accomplishments, Dhankude leads expeditions and trains aspiring mountaineers for Himalayan and global challenges.

Paresh Shivalkar, a notable figure in Indian football, excelled as both player and coach. Representing Pune University and Maharashtra, he showed talent and leader-ship. With a career spanning clubs like Air India and Mumbai FC, Paresh transitioned into coaching with AFC licenses and FIFA courses.

Currently, he coaches the Maharashtra Senior Men's team for the Santosh Trophy 2024 and contributes as a selector. Paresh also fosters grassroots talent, shaping Indian football's futrue.

Suyosha Shetty, a prominent basketball figure with 12+ years of experience, excels in shooting, ball handling, and defense, securing numerous championships. She's renowned for leadership and adaptability. Beyond playing, she mentors students, emphasizing skill development and sportsmanship.

As Maharashtra Team Manager, she leads teams to victory, lauded for her managerial skills. Suyosha prioritizes athletes' holistic growth, embodying dedication, leadership, and excellence, inspiring current and aspiring athletes.

Prasad Sitaram Khatakar is a distinguished recipient of the Shri Shiv Chatrapati award in Volleyball from Maharashtra state in 1981. With six years representing Pune University and five years representing Maharashtra State in volleyball, Prasad's talent shone bright, earning him selection for the Indian University Volleyball camp for four consecutive years. Today, he brings his expertise to the pharmaceutical industry, overseeing operations in Wai MIDC

Biography

For this year’s Shearforce chief guests are Shireen Limaye and Priyanka Chavarkar. Shireen Limaye is a talented roller skater and snooker player. Along with being the basketball captain of India in netball at the 2010 Commonwealth Games. Priyanka Kailash Chavarkar is a Professional Athlete, National Medalist, and International Marathon Runner.

She is enthusiastic about the future of women's basketball in India, especially when the national federation announced the start of a new league for the sport in India. The NBA highly recommends her as a student-athlete and an individual with good leadership skills. She has a strong competitive nature and a tremendous work ethic considering her love for the game.

Biography

She has been in Athletics for 13 years. In 2022, she received an award from the Mayor, Mr. Murlidhar Mohol, titled ‘Best Sportsman’ from the Pune Municipal Corporation. She represented India at the Los Angeles Skechers Performance World Full Marathon and secured 24th rank. Priyanka Maam also represented Maharashtra in 1500mtr & 3000 m steeplechase. She holds 26 National medals and 30 State Medals in State Meets. She is an All-India Inter-University Silver Medalist. She secured second place in the Pune International Marathon of 21km. She also won the Lokmat Mahamarathon of 10kms. Priyanka Maam is currently working with Brooks Running India Brand as their Elite Athlete.

Biography

Our chairman Shri Abhay Chajjed is very well respected in Pune’s social circles as well as is an influential person at the state level. He holds many important positions being the Chairman of the Indian Roll Ball Federation, Vice President of Maharashtra State Athletics Associate, Organizing Committee Member of the Pune International Marathon and the commonwealth youth games, and the Vice President of the Pune District Archery Organisation. He has been very ably guiding all of us to achieve higher and higher in education as well as in overall life goals.

Shri Indrakumar Chajjed Sir, our vice chairman is an active entrepreneur in the construction industry. He is not only a valued member of the Pune builders association but also serves as a trustee of various temple committees.
